Sauna assembly & installation

Sauna Assembly & Installation in Evergreen, CO

Bear Creek Projects assembles and installs saunas for homes in Evergreen and the foothills: indoor cedar rooms, outdoor barrel saunas, and cabin or pod kits. Clayton McMillan does the work himself, from the base and first wall panel to the benches, trim and door, and cleans up before he leaves.

Serving Evergreen, Conifer, Kittredge, Morrison, Golden and the Denver foothills, CO

What sauna installation covers

  • Indoor sauna kits and cedar sauna rooms
  • Outdoor barrel sauna kits
  • Cabin and pod sauna kits
  • Benches, backrests and slatted floors
  • Cedar finish carpentry and trim
  • Doors and glass panels, hung and adjusted
  • Placement and leveling
  • Foundations and pads for outdoor units

Kits go together better on a level, solid base

Most sauna trouble starts underneath: a basement floor that isn't flat, or an outdoor spot that settles after the first winter. For indoor rooms, Clayton checks the floor and shims or levels the base so panels line up and the door closes clean. For barrel, cabin and pod saunas outside, he plans the spot and builds a level pad or foundation so the unit sits square and sheds snow and water.

Finish carpentry is what you notice

Benches that don't rock, tight cedar seams, trim that hides the cut edges, and a glass door that swings and seals the way it should. That's the carpentry side of Bear Creek Projects, and it's the part that makes a kit look built-in. The photo on this page is an indoor cedar sauna Clayton installed, with benches, a slatted floor and a glass door.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you assemble sauna kits I bought online?

Yes. Indoor kits, barrel saunas and cabin or pod kits bought online or from a store are a good fit. Text the brand and model, or a link to the kit, plus a photo of where it's going, and Clayton will tell you what the job involves.

Do you install both indoor and outdoor saunas?

Yes. Indoor saunas go together inside a basement, garage or spare room, on a level floor. Outdoor barrel, cabin and pod saunas need a level pad or foundation that holds up to snow and freeze-thaw, and Clayton can plan and build that part too.

How long does a sauna installation take?

It depends on the kit, its size, and whether an outdoor unit needs a pad or foundation first. Send the kit details and a photo of the spot, and Clayton will give you a realistic timeline with the quote.
